On your flight to Bali, you'll be allowed to take with, depending on your airline, between 20 and 30 kg of baggage with (not including hand luggage). Should you take diving equipment with, please consult your airline beforehand. Don't forget, your diving luggage must be checked in before, it can't be done afterword.
On domestic flights inside Indonesia, the baggage limit for most airline carriers is limited to 15 kg. (not including hand luggage) In order to take a heavier bag with you, you must pay the fees for the overweight bag. This is not possible at the check-in counter, you receive a receipt, and you must pay it at another counter. Plan about 30 minutes for this in case the airport is full. Aside from that, you must pay the fee in cash, use one of the ATMs at the airport to withdraw some Indonesian Rupees.
ATM are in the arrival hall in the international terminal (take out money when you arrive) and in the shopping center to the right of the international terminal if you are standing in front of the building looking at it.
